Greetings from Healdsburg!
It was a beautiful day in Healdsburg. The high’s were in the low 70’s, with a slight breeze in the air-- a perfect day to send out your wine club shipment. I watched as all of your packages were loaded in their trucks and left our driveway. I am happy to say your spring shipment is on its way and also, ready for pick up. What is on its way, you ask???
Well, everyone will be receiving the 2005 Alexander Valley Cabernet and the 2006 Dry Creek Valley Old Vine Zinfandel.
Our “Red’s Only” members will also be receiving the 2005 Diablita Zin-a . Our “Combo” club members will be receiving the 2008 Dry Creek Valley, Sauvignon Blanc.
I am happy to mention that from March 18, 2009-April 16,2009, enjoy FREE SHIPPING and an additional 5% discount (25% total discount) when you purchase a case of any of the wines listed above OR ANY EVERETT RIDGE, ESTERLINA OR DIABLITA wines. When you purchase 2 or more cases, enjoy FREE SHIPPING and an additional 15% discount (35% total discount). Mix and match to make your perfect case or cases. First, the date of August 20th for the Friday night Diablita pizza night is actually, August 21st. Second, our last joint club party in October got cut off so, that date is Sunday, October 11th.
Because our parties have become so popular, and in order to continue to keep our events free for our members, we have to limit the number of guests that you bring to our events.
*Please note: You may bring two other guests per member household. If you bring more than two people, we will have to charge them a per person fee of $25.00, in order to attend.
**We also have to limit the total amount of people that attend per event. If you wish to attend one of the events, be sure to RSVP early in order to ensure that you are on the list for that day. Also, keep in mind that we have many members and would like ALL to attend at least one of our wine club events. If you have already attended an event and wish to go to another one, you will be put on a waiting list. If we have not filled our quota for that event, you will be notified. This will be on a first come, first serve basis. Don’t forget that as a member of one club, you can enjoy the benefits of BOTH clubs. That means you can attend any of the events. If you are an Esterlina member and have never been to Everett Ridge or vice versa, we welcome you to check out our other facilities and meet the staff at that location.
To close this unintentional LONG email, I would like to mention that we will be participating in Passport this year which is April 25th and 26th. Our entire staff is very excited to tell you that our theme this year is, “Motown”. We will be serving SOUL food and I am currently working on getting the band for the weekend. I don’t have any more tickets, but as always, our wine club members are welcome to come up and join in the fun and festivities. We will have a special area with members only wines and food. We hope to see you there.

The Cellar Club Combo club members will be receiving our 2006 Chardonnay (regularly $22.00, wine club price is $17.60) our 2006 Estate Zinfandel (reg. price $32.00, wine club price is $25.60) and our 2005 Port (reg. price $28.00, wine club price is $22.40).
Crimson Cask (Reds only) club members will be receiving the 2005 Port, the 2006 Zinfandel and our 2006 Sangiovese (reg. price is $32.00, wine club price is $25.60).
If the Chardonnay or the Sangiovese sounds good to you and you didn’t receive it (because of the club that you are in), you can always order a bottle or BETTER YET, come by our tasting room and try either or ALL of the wines to see if you would like to order more.
We have a limited amount of Sangiovese and we are offering it to our club members only! If you like it, I suggest you pick it up soon. We have to limit purchases to 6 bottles per member household.
Don’t forget that as a member of Everett Ridge you’re also a member of our sister winery Esterlina. Your wine club discount applies to those wines as well.
Everett Ridge is participating in Barrel Tasting again this year. We are taking part in both weekends, March 7th and 8th, 14th and 15th, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. We will have a designated area for you, if you would like to stop by (no ticket purchase necessary). If you would like to purchase tickets you can do so at www.wineroad.com. FYI, there is a difference in cost if you purchase ahead rather than at the door.
